Jemma Thomas Crowned Teacher of the Year 2023
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Jemma Thomas, of Crossgates Primary School, on being crowned as Teacher of the Year at the Dunfermline Press and Central Fife Times Community Champion Awards 2023; recognises that the competition was hotly contested by the other nominees; understands that Jemma took over as the Crossgates Primary School Young Carers Champion in August 2019, and since then has created a sector-leading support programme for young carers in the community; thanks her for all that she does for young carers, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, and wishes her all the very best for the future.
