Congratulations to EKYC, Yellow U15s, SYFA Central Region Cup Winner 2023
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates East Kilbride Youth Club (EKYC) Under-15s on winning the Scottish Youth Football Association Central Region Cup 2023; notes the 4-3 win on penalties saw EKYC U15s edge Eddlewood FC to claim the cup after a nail-biting match at Broadwood Stadium, in Cumbernauld; recognises that EKYC, founded in 1969, is East Kilbride’s largest youth football club, with around 200 boys and girls in 10 teams aged between five and 16; commends EKYC for its longstanding place in the community over many generations, and wishes EKYC the best of luck in the years ahead.
