East Ayrshire Churches Homelessness Action Receives National Lottery Funding

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates East Ayrshire Churches Homelessness Action on its award of £175,239 from the Medium Grants Scotland: Improving Lives programme by the National Lottery; understands that the grant will be used to provide a free mobile hair care service, which will make monthly visits to 20 communities in East Ayrshire, and will act as a hook and catalyst for personal development and community action; further understands that the project aims to benefit 1,000 people and involve around 30 volunteers over two years; commends East Ayrshire Churches Homelessness Action on its efforts to serve the local community, and wishes it all the best for the future.
