Lesmahagow Farmers Society Benefits from National Lottery Funding

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Lesmahagow Farmers Society on its award of £5,000 from the National Lottery Awards for All Scotland; understands that the grant will be used to support the delivery of the annual agricultural show, to bring people together and build strong relationships in and across Lesmahagow and the surrounding areas; recognises what it sees as the value of agricultural shows for local and rural communities, and wishes the Lesmahagow Farmers Society every success in the future.
