Healthy Valleys Funded by National Lottery Grants
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Healthy Valleys on its award of £47,291 from the Medium Grants Scotland: Improving Lives by the National Lottery; understands that the group will use the funding to work with partners and local community groups to deliver an outreach programme providing a range of cost of living support, including workshops, courses and events; further understands that the project will also provide support, information and advice and, where appropriate, refer people to specialist agencies; notes that the 12-month project will work across Clydesdale, supporting approximately 500 people and involving 25 volunteers; recognises what it sees as the importance of third sector organisations to rural communities, and wishes Healthy Valleys all the best as its project progresses.
