Newly-launched Falkirk Schools Pipe Band

The motion

That the Parliament commends the founding of the new Falkirk Schools Pipe Band; understands that it was launched at the start of 2023 by schools instrumental instructor, Euan McNab; notes that the band is made up of 14 pipers and five drummers from various Falkirk high schools and primary schools; understands that the pipe band competed in its first ever Highland Games at Gourock in May 2023; notes that the Pipe Band is due to play in Grangemouth’s children’s day in June as well as the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow in August 2023, and wishes the Falkirk schools Pipe Band success in its future endeavours.
