Journalist, Jen Stout, Recognised at the Scottish Press Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates journalist, Jen Stout, on being recognised at the Scottish Press Awards 2023; understands that Jen was runner-up Reporter of the Year for her coverage of the war against Ukraine over the past year for The Sunday Post; further understands that former radio and television producer, Jen, from Shetland, specialises in long reads and essays and frequently works in Ukraine; considers that reporting from the ground in Ukraine is important, and commends Jen for her work in telling people’s stories in difficult circumstances; congratulates Jen on her achievements in journalism, and wishes her well in her work.
