Recognising the Achievements of Cameron Coupar

That the Parliament recognises and applauds the achievements of Blairgowrie’s Cameron Coupar, a 13-year-old boy who recently received the prestigious Young Scot Award in the Equality and Diversity category; understands that this accolade recognises Cameron's resilience and commitment to raising awareness of both stammering and dyslexia, conditions that he courageously lives with every day; acknowledges that Cameron, despite communication challenges and instances of bullying, has continuously demonstrated an impressive attitude, using his lived experiences to raise awareness and affect positive change; understands that he has utilised his creativity to design material for a club dedicated to neurodivergent children, and to support a campaign by the Scottish Stammering Network, which seeks to combat discrimination in employment; believes that his story serves as a positive example of overcoming adversity, promoting acceptance and striving towards a more inclusive Scotland, and wishes him the best as he continues to inspire others, contribute to his community, and raise awareness about stammering and dyslexia.
