Braw Wee Shop Helping Students with Disabilities Prepare for Work

The motion

That the Parliament recognises New College Lanarkshire’s new booming business, Braw Wee Shop; notes that this has been set up by students with learning disabilities in a bid to boost employment rates for people with additional support needs; further notes that this shop is stocked and staffed by students in the Supported Learning department, and that lecturers hope the project will help prepare the students for the working world, and understands that students have said that the project has given them more confidence and improved their communication skills.
