Climate Youth Work Project of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Western Isles Climate Action Group on being named Climate Youth Work Project of the Year at the National YouthLink Work Awards 2023; notes that the awards took place on 21 June 2023; understands that the group of young climate activists, formed during the COVID-19 pandemic, have been successfully fundraising and campaigning on a variety of local, national and global environmental issues; recognises the importance of young people’s voices being heard on all issues, and on environmental issues in particular, and wishes the Western Isles Climate Action Group all the best for its future campaign efforts.
