National Lottery Community Fund Awards Over £58,000 to Aberdeen Action On Disability’s "Helpability" Project
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the recent funding award of £58,200 to Aberdeen Action On Disability from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the funding will be used to fund Aberdeen Action On Disability’s two-year "Helpability" project, which will deliver benefits advice, support, and social activities to people with a broad range of disabilities in Aberdeen; further understands that this project is expected to assist up to 2,000 people with around 600 benefits consultations; notes that the Community Fund supports communities to thrive with funding from the National Lottery; commends the hard work of everyone involved at Aberdeen Action On Disability, and wishes them all the best with the "Helpability" project.
