Strathblane Primary School Under-11 Lacrosse Team Wins British Championships

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Strathblane Primary School under-11 Lacrosse team on winning the British Pop (indoor) Lacrosse Championships on 28 June 2023 at Keele University in Staffordshire; understands that the team consisted of eight P6 and P7 pupils, who had won the Stirling tournament in March and the national Scottish tournament in April, before progressing to represent Scotland at the British Championships; notes that Strathblane Primary School Parent Council raised over £2,500 to help fund the team's travel, accommodation, food and sports kit for the trip to Keele University; understands that this is the second time that Strathblane Primary School has won this championship, having previously won in 2019, and wishes the team future success.
