West Moss-side Organic Farm Wins Sustainable Small Farm of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates West Moss-side Organic Farm on winning the Sustainable Small Farm of the Year Award at the RBST Farming & Food Sustainability Awards 2023; understands that West Moss-side Organic Farm near Thornhill, Stirling, won the award for its work following wildlife and habitat conservation principles on its land, which includes part of the raised bog of the Flanders Moss National Nature Reserve, with the judges commending the farm for its combination of traditional farming with valuable diversification, and owner Kate Sankey's commitment to biodiversity, keeping crafts alive and breeding Shetland cattle, and wishes West Moss-side Organic Farm future success with its ambitious plans for its land.
