Day Today, Stenhousemuir, Secures Category Star at Independent Achievers Academy Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Jawad Javed and Asiyah Javed of Day Today, Stenhousemuir, on being awarded the Independent Achievers Academy Category Star for Marketing to Customers Award; notes that the awards ceremony was held at the Aloft Birmingham Eastside Hotel on 3 July 2023; understands that the Category Star award was in association with betterRetailing, which is an online hub supporting enterprising independent retailers across the UK; notes that the Independent Achievers Academy is a business development programme supporting independent news and convenience retailers; acknowledges the importance of Day Today being awarded a Category Star at the Independent Achievers Academy, facing competition from other stores from across the UK; congratulates Jawed and Asiyah of Day Today once more, and wishes them well with their future endeavours.
