Kirkcaldy Art Club's Clay Creatures Raise Money for Family Support Charity
The motion
That the Parliament commends Kirkcaldy Art Club on creating a range of creatures in clay to be sold to help fundraise for the local additional needs charity, Nourish; understands that the animals have been created from a simple closed form and brought to life by the club’s pottery members adding their own features, before being bisque fired and adding glaze; notes that there is a wide range of animals for sale, with each one uniquely created and all the money from the sale of the creatures being donated to Nourish, which has a charity shop right across from the art club’s premises in the Mercat Shopping Centre in Kirkcaldy; applauds the art club for its charitable gesture, and wishes it all the best for the future.
