Charities Benefit from More than £1,500 of Funding from the Asda Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament recognises that the Asda Foundation has handed out grants to three deserving groups across the Dumbarton constituency; notes that £576 was given to Tullochan, a charity that works with around 100 young people each year across West Dunbartonshire, providing support and opportunities to help them prosper; acknowledges that £600 was awarded to Helensburgh Art Club, a group of around 200 members that was founded to encourage and develop interest in visual arts and crafts throughout the area; recognises that Milton Village Community Group received £400 from the recent tranche of funding; thanks the Asda Foundation for investing in communities, and welcomes the work of the groups that have recently benefitted from the awards.
