The motion

That the Parliament commends Ed Law, from Bridge of Don, as he prepares to embark on a 100-mile long run from Aberdeen to Inverness for charity; understands that Ed will sport a Spider-Man costume throughout the trek, as he looks to complete the run within 24 hours; believes that Ed previously embarked on a 100-mile run along the A96 in order to raise funds for a mental health charity, and will this time be looking to raise money for the children’s charity, Charlie’s House; notes that Charlie’s House was founded in 2011, with the goal of improving quality of life for babies, children and young people in the north east of Scotland who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, and to provide support for them and their families; understands that Ed is due to begin his trek on 17 July 2023, and wishes him well with his fundraiser.
