Quit Your Way Team Knits Blankets for Dogs Trust

The motion

That the Parliament commends the NHS Lanarkshire Quit Your Way Team on knitting over 20 dog blankets for Dogs Trust; understands that Jacqueline MacDonald set up the knitting club as an out-of-office activity to socialise and learn new skills; notes that Quit Your Way Scotland is a free advice and support service for anyone trying to stop smoking in Scotland, run by NHS 24 on behalf of the Scottish Government; further notes that Dogs Trust was started in 1891 by a small group to campaign against animal cruelty, and is now the UK’s leading dog welfare charity; thanks all the knitters for the commitment to creating doggie blankets, and wishes both Quit Your Way knitters and Dogs Trust staff all the best for the future.
