Aberdeen Race for Life
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Cancer Research UK on organising an extremely successful Race for Life event in Aberdeen; applauds the 1,619 people who walked, jogged and ran the 5k and 10k races and raised over £125,000 for vital cancer research; commends Jordan Ramsay, from Stuartfield, who was the guest of honour, following her thyroid cancer diagnosis, and who sounded the horn at the start line of each race, and wishes Cancer Research UK all the best in its efforts to beat cancer.
