Larbert High School's Pride Picnic
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Larbert High School (LHS) on its Pride Picnic, which was held on 27 June 2023; celebrates the number of staff and students that came together to celebrate LGBTQ+ history and the community in their school; is pleased to note that they managed to reach their donation goal through various fundraising events throughout Pride Month; thanks Rebecca Mirlees and Tom King for organising the event, along with the LHS Gender & Sexualities Alliance; understands that celebrating LGBTQ+ people helps start conversations about how schools can be more inclusive, and wishes the LHS Gender & Sexualities Alliance all the best in encouraging teachers and students to embrace LGBTQ+ inclusive education.
