Carers of West Dunbartonshire Receives £142,875 Grant from the National Lottery

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Carers of West Dunbartonshire on receiving a £142,875 Medium Grant Scotland from the National Lottery; understands that the funds will be used to deliver a project that will identify unrecognised unpaid carers over the age of 18 living in West Dunbartonshire, specifically in Castlehill, Drumry and Haldane; notes that the group will ensure that carers are aware of their rights and have access to resilience and capacity-building support; appreciates that the project will benefit 200 people over three years and will engage 10 volunteers, and wishes the organisation and its service users every success for the future.
