St Peter the Apostle High School, in Clydebank, Receives Gold Scottish Languages Employability Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates St Peter the Apostle High School, in Clydebank, on receiving a Gold Scottish Languages Employability Award from Scotland’s National Centre for Languages (SCILT) and the Confucius Institute for Scotland’s Schools; understands that the pupils impressed judges with their engaging projects across three year groups, S2, S3 and S6, which incorporate Spanish and Gaelic languages; notes that the school was praised for being passionate about language learning and its commitment to developing employability skills, and for providing rich learning experiences; acknowledges the positive impact that this will have on the skills and confidence of the school's young people, and applauds staff and pupils for this achievement.
