Stitch the Gap CIC, Kirkintilloch, Receives £10,000 National Lottery Grant

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Stitch the Gap CIC, of Kirkintilloch, on receiving a £10,000 National Lottery Awards for All grant; understands that the funding will be used to provide free sewing classes for young people; appreciates that the classes will help young people repurpose old clothes and gain beginner's sewing skills; notes that the young people will also hold a fashion show to encourage working against climate change by upcycling old clothes, and wishes the group and participants every success for the future.
