Ministry of Defence Gold Award for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) on receiving a Gold award from the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS); understands that the scheme recognises organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the Armed Forces community and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant, which is the nation’s promise to ensure that those who serve and their families are treated fairly and with respect; recognises that the Gold award, which is the highest standard in the scheme, marks the outstanding commitment of NHSGGC to veterans, Armed Forces personnel, reservists and the family of serving members, and is in recognition of the proactive work of the board to ensure that those who serve and who have served are not disadvantaged in the workplace, and commends NHSGGC for this achievement and for valuing the benefits and strengths that the Armed Forces community can bring to the workplace.
