Raith Rovers FC Fans Complete Million Step Challenge for Club's Charity

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates seven Raith Rovers FC fans on raising £1,400, by taking part in the Million Step Challenge in June 2023; recognises that the group, which was made up of Gavin Quinn, Gillian Eadie, Margie Robertson, George Fleming, Scott Wilson, Tracy English and David Watson, smashed its step count target by more than double in the 30 days of the month by actually achieving a total of 2,314,498 steps between the participants; understands that the group's efforts raised £1,400 for the football club’s community foundation, a charitable organisation that uses the power of sport and the Raith brand to engage, motivate, inspire and empower the local community; commends the group for its efforts, and wishes the participants all the best for the future.
