Celebrating East Kilbride’s Independent Retailers
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates all the retailers shortlisted for the Scottish Independent Retail Awards 2023; understands that the awards celebrate independent retailers’ achievements, resilience, innovation and dedication to serving their local communities; notes that five independent retailers in East Kilbride were on the list, including Hunter House Coffee Shop, Optomeyes Opticians, All 4 Pets and The Pet Empawrium; celebrates what it sees as the benefits that such independent retailers bring to Scotland’s communities, and wishes them all the best for the future.
