Ayr Postman, John Price, Retires after 44 years of Service

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the retirement of long-serving Ayr Postman, John Price; notes that John has been a postman with Royal Mail since 1978; acknowledges that John has taken the decision to retire at the age of 65 after over 44 years of service; understands that he has become well known over the years across Ayr and has delivered mail to many families, including the late Scottish country singer, Sydney Devine; believes that he will be missed by colleagues, friends and family from his walking routes; applauds his dedication to his role and service to the community over the years, and wishes John a happy and well-deserved retirement.
