Congratulations to East Kilbride’s Award-winning Village Blinds
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Village Blinds, in East Kilbride, on winning Soft Furnishings Supplier of the Year at the 10th Scottish Independent Retail Awards 2023; understands that the awards celebrate independent retailers’ achievements, resilience, innovation and dedication to serving their local communities; recognises that Village Blinds is a family-owned business that has been operating for over three decades, and now has branches in East Kilbride, Bellshill and Clarkston; celebrates what it sees as the benefits that independent retailers, such as Village Blinds, bring to Scotland’s communities, and wishes it all the best for the future.
