The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Autism and Neurodiversity North Scotland (A-ND) on the monumental success of its first-ever fundraising event, Think Different Golf Day and Dinner, held in May 2023; understands that the charity raised an impressive sum of £46,000, allowing A-ND to focus on areas of expansion; further understands that the charity currently offers support to 150 individuals and families across the north of Scotland, with a target to increase this number to 500 by 2027, and works with ThinkPR Scotland Ltd, a local business that generously gives up its services, time and resources in aid of A-ND and other local charities; notes that the "Binky the Sensory Bus" initiative aims to extend A-ND’s outreach services to autistic and neurodivergent individuals and their families, who, it believes, currently lack essential support, and wishes A-ND and its service users all the best for future activities.
