National Lottery Heritage Fund Makes Award to My Cowdenbeath CIC
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates My Cowdenbeath CIC on being successfully awarded £9,980 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for its new project, Cowdenbeath's Civic Heritage; understands that the aim is to create a project for the local people of Cowdenbeath to reconnect with their history and heritage by making thousands of archive images of the much-loved Gala Days and Civic Week events available online for the first time; recognises that the National Lottery Heritage Fund invests money, raised by National Lottery players, in museums, parks and historic places, as well as in archaeology, the natural environment and cultural traditions; thanks the National Lottery Heritage Fund for backing the project, and wishes those at My Cowdenbeath CIC all the very best for their project.
