Andy's Man Club Duo Raises £2,400 in Non-stop 96-mile West Highland Way

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kevin Woodward, of Cowdenbeath, and Stuart MacKenzie, of Ballingry, on their fundraising efforts in raising £2,400 for Andy's Man Club; understands that the pair suffered and endured immense pain to complete the gruelling mental and physical challenge of walking the 96-mile West Highland Way non-stop over 39 hours; further understands that there were times when the pair wanted to quit the walk, but that they persevered and pushed each other on, from morning through to the night, to reach the end at Fort William, having set off from Milngavie; thanks them for their efforts to fundraise and raise awareness for such a worthy cause, and wishes them all the best in their recovery from the walk.
