Stirling Folk Club Celebrates 60th Anniversary

That the Parliament congratulates the Stirling Folk Club on celebrating its 60th anniversary; understands that the Stirling Folk Club currently meets every Monday night at the Stirling Rugby Club at Bridgehaugh, but that it has previously met at a number of different venues throughout the city, including the Golden Lion Hotel and the Terraces Hotel; notes that the Stirling Folk Club was established in 1963, and that, to celebrate its 60th anniversary, an evening with Archie Fisher, who first appeared at the Stirling Folk Club in their founding year, will be held on 24 July 2023, and wishes the Stirling Folk Club a fantastic celebration and all the best for the future.
