William Simpsons Care Home, Plean, Raises £1,600 from Sponsored Hike

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates 10 members of staff at William Simpsons Care Home, Plean, on raising £1,600 for the home by hiking up Dumyat in the Ochils; understands that William Simpsons Care Home is a not-for-profit home that provides respite, short-term and long-term support and care for adults living with a mental health diagnosis, cognitive impairment, alcohol-related brain damage (ARBD) and other substance abuse-related conditions; notes that the home is supported by individuals and groups carrying out fundraising activities and sponsored events, and looks forward to hearing more about future fundraising efforts of staff, local businesses and community members.
