Kilmarnock Asda Funds Three Local Projects
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that three local projects have been funded through Asda Foundation Grants; understands that each project is nominated by people within the community and that the grants seek to address the rising cost of living, as well as groups working to improve the lives of children and young people; further understands that grants were received by Ayrshire Recording services, to the value of £800, to fund roof repairs on the group’s building, Crosshouse Community Football Club, to the value of £400, to fund new training equipment for one of the junior teams, and Newmilns Regeneration Association, to the value of £731, to assist with the rising utilities costs associated with increasing use of the CHaT Hub by the community and the Association; commends the Asda Foundation on its commitment to making a real difference in the community, and wishes all award recipients well.
