Stenhousemuir Golden Couple Celebrate with Donation to Strathcarron Hospice

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Katrina and Douglas Crawford of Stenhousemuir, on their recent 50-year wedding anniversary and the generous way that they used this celebration to benefit others; recognises that the couple, who originally met in Grangemouth in the 1970s, asked their family and friends to substitute a wedding anniversary gift for a donation to Strathcarron Hospice; understands that, through the generous donations made, the pair raised a fantastic £1,550 for the Fankerton Hospice, which provides vital support, both in-hospice and in the community, to those who require it across Forth Valley and surrounding areas; congratulates Katrina and Douglas on their recent golden wedding anniversary, and thanks them for their generosity in supporting the regional treasure that is Strathcarron Hospice.
