Euan Forsyth named BMI Apprentice of the Year 2023

The motion

That the Parliament commends Euan Forsyth, of Kirkcaldy-based Mithril Roofing, after being named BMI Apprentice of the Year 2023; understands that the annual BMI Apprentice of the Year competition provides an opportunity for roofing apprentices to put their skills to the test alongside dozens of the industry’s most promising new entrants, with the winners being chosen by a panel of expert judges; recognises that Euan claimed the award in the pitched roofing category by showcasing hands-on roofing skills, an ability to work well within a team, and demonstrating considerable marketing and business acumen; notes that Euan also won a £1,000 cash prize and access to a three-year training programme through the BMI Academy; praises Euan’s hard work and dedication to his craft, and wishes him all the best for the future.
