Stonehaven Ice Cream Parlour Named Scotland's Best

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Stonehaven-based ice cream parlour, Aunt Betty’s, which was named as one of the UK’s top ice cream shops and as the number one location in Scotland in a new list published by The Sunday Times; understands that the parlour placed fifth in the UK-wide list, with The Sunday Times praising the nearly 20 flavours on sale and the fact that customers are able to jazz them up with sauces, sprinkles and sweets; notes that Aunt Betty’s parlour doubles-up as a sweetshop, and was the only ice cream parlour in Scotland to feature on the list, and commends all staff on this tremendous achievement.
