The Bedroom Tax
The motion
That the Parliament commends the Scottish Government for what it sees as continuing to mitigate the spare room subsidy, more commonly known as the bedroom tax, which was introduced by the UK Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government; considers that the bedroom tax is a cruel, heartless policy, and condemns Sir Keir Starmer's Labour Party for refusing to commit to abolishing the bedroom tax if it ever gains power.
