Hugh Black and Sons Ltd Shortlisted at Scotland Food and Drink Excellence Awards 2023

The motion

That the Parliament recognises that Hugh Black and Sons Ltd has had three products shortlisted at the Scotland Food and Drink Excellence Awards 2023; understands that its traditional haggis has been shortlisted for the prestigious Meat Product of the Year 2023 award; recognises that its ribeye fillet steak and scotch lamb valentine steak have both been shortlisted for the prestigious Scotch Brand Product of the Year 2023 award; notes that the awards have been running for over 22 years, recognising the highest quality produce, as well as leading individuals, suppliers, and companies; further notes that the winners will be announced at a black tie awards night, hosted by TV personality, Fred Sirieix, on 7 September 2023 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, and wishes all the family and team at Hugh Black and Sons Ltd all the very best on the night.
