The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Jennifer Kane, who has recently celebrated 50 years of service to NHS Fife; understands that Jennifer began working with NHS Fife when she finished school at the age of 16, before the health authority was even known as NHS Fife; notes that, over the past 50 years, Jennifer has worked in a number of different departments across NHS Scotland, spending 20 years working in accident and emergency, before dedicating herself to 24 years in the children’s ward, and finally committing her last four years to the children’s outpatient department; recognises that, in honour of her 50th anniversary with the NHS, Jennifer met First Minister Humza Yousaf at a special reception at Edinburgh Castle, where exceptional frontline staff were recognised for their contribution to the NHS legacy, while also being honoured at a garden party at Queen Margaret's Hospital; thanks Jennifer for her service to the NHS, and wishes her all the best for the future.
