Andy Craig Sets Up Local Mental Health Support Group
The motion
That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the inspiring work of Andy Craig from Grangemouth, in creating the group, “Come Chat About That”, which provides a place for local people to come to talk and be heard about their feelings and emotions; believes that the number of people attending this, and similarly themed groups, is growing within communities as they provide much needed support in an appropriate and confidential setting; notes that “Come Chat About That” is itself facilitated as a safe space, where all matters discussed at meetings are private and confidential and that the group has established links with other charities to provide material and signposting for those who attend; congratulates Andy Craig in his personal endeavours in forming this group, and wishes him and all connected to “Come Chat About That” all the very best for future success.
