Dalgety Bay Community Trust Benefits From Cycling Facilities Fund

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Dalgety Community Trust on the award of £50,000 from the Cycling Facilities Fund; understands that this funding will be used as investment towards a new pump track, which will benefit the local community once complete; believes that the new pump track has been designed to accommodate as many people in the community as possible and understands that it will allow for the use of bikes, skating, skateboarding and much more; considers that the pump track will be an inclusive and accessible place for sports for those with disability, especially wheelchair users; understands that the Cycling Facilities Fund was made possible through a joint commitment by the Scottish Government and sportscotland through National Lottery funds; further understands that this project has gained community buy-in, and wishes those involved in the community trust all the very best for the project.
