Helensburgh Yoga Instructor Raises £2,000 for Charity

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Helensburgh-based yoga instructor, Iona Webster, on raising £2,000 for the animal rights group, Humane Society International, following a special charity yoga class held at Helensburgh Leisure Centre; understands that this group is one of the largest animal protection organisations that is working against animal cruelty; welcomes that the event concluded with a raffle, which was supported by local businesses, including Sugar Boat, Riverhill and Cameron House, which all supplied prizes for the event, and thanks Iona and all those involved in ensuring the event’s success.
