Helensburgh-based Street Cones Programme Introduces New Drama Sessions

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the recent addition of drama sessions to the Helensburgh-based Street Cones programme; recognises that the programme aims to assist individuals who have gone through or are currently going through the criminal justice system, who have suffered at the hands of others, and who have struggled with anxiety, depression, or addiction; notes that the organisation's founder, Hugh Young, believes in inspiring and encouraging people involved in the criminal justice system, to assist them in developing life skills and in receiving a variety of personal insights that will benefit their reintegration into society; acknowledges the other Street Cones programmes, such as those that address loneliness and sleeplessness, as well as group discussions and seminars on drug abuse, criminal behaviour, and self-harm, and thanks Hugh Young and business partner, Ben Elmer-White, for what it sees as their invaluable work.
