Munros for Mary’s Meals

The motion

That the Parliament commends Bearsden Primary pupil, Bethany Wilson, aged seven, who has set herself the goal of climbing 4,800m, which is the same height as Mont Blanc, to raise money for Mary’s Meals; congratulates her on having already bagged four Munros since the beginning of the school holidays; acknowledges that, in P1, Bethany walked, cycled and ran 104 miles, raising £1,300 for CARE International; further acknowledges that, in P2, she completed a month of daily cold swims for Macmillan Cancer Support, raising £675; thanks Bethany for what it sees as her selflessness and passion towards helping others, and wishes her the best of luck in her future fundraising efforts.
