Jonathan Moore Smashes 17-year-old Club Record

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the achievement of Jonathan Moore, an athlete of Motherwell Athletic Club, on smashing a 17-year-old club record; understands that Jonathan ran a 4 mile time trial in 20 minutes and 11 seconds, beating the previous record of 20 minutes and 20 seconds set in 2006; further understands that Jonathan, who is a physio at University Hospital Wishaw, only took up running in 2021 and, over the last two years, has worked on beating the club record; thanks all the coaches for their encouragement and dedication, and wishes Motherwell Athletic Club and Jonathan all the best for the future.
