Coltness Community Food Larder Receives Cost of Living Grant From Asda Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Coltness Community Food Larder on receiving £1,000 from Kelly Alexander, Community Champion at Asda Newmains; understands that the Food Larder received a £1,000 cost of living grant from the Asda Foundation to provide much needed assistance to the local community; further understands that the larder provides support and signposting to residents of Coltness, who find themselves struggling to make their finances stretch as a result of the increase in the prices of essential basics due to the current cost of living crisis; notes that the larder is open on Fridays from 9.30 to 11.30 am in St Mark’s Church, Coltness, and is supported by local volunteers; thanks the Asda Foundation, Kelly Alexander and the community for their kindness, and wishes everyone involved across the community all the best for the future.
