Fiona McCall's Nakuru Project
The motion
That the Parliament commends Fiona McCall, from Wishaw, on her latest charity mission to Kenya, despite being diagnosed with terminal cancer; understands that Fiona, along with three other colleagues from Project Nakuru, will return to Kenya to help build a school, provide food parcels and equipment to help locals in need; notes that Project Nakuru was set up in 2011 by Fiona, who was later joined by Brian McPhee, Ann Todd and Jack Strang, where they helped build water wells, accommodation and provide essentials, such as clothes and equipment to the local hospital and orphanage; thanks those at Project Nakuru for what it sees as their selflessness acts of kindness, and wishes Fiona all the best.
