The motion

That the Parliament welcomes Edinburgh Tram’s new 24-hour services during the Festival weekends in August; understands the challenges people face in finding transportation and parking, especially during late-night shows, when the city hosts some of the world’s most popular celebrations of art and culture; further understands that the operator’s usual range of tickets will be accepted for these services with no additional charges to people; acknowledges what it sees as the immense support that this will provide to the city’s accessibility and infrastructure at a time when it receives tens of thousands of visitors from all around the world, and thanks the operators for what it sees as their innovative contribution and dedication to serving the city of Edinburgh.
