Claire Cordiner's Walk of Hope
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Claire Cordiner, from Wishaw, who will lead the Walk of Hope 2023 to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research; understands that Claire sadly lost her nephew, Max Jones, in July 2023, her sister Angie in 2009, and her mum in 2008, after all three were diagnosed with brain tumours; further understands that Claire has raised over £7,000 for Brain Tumour Research through different fundraising activities; commends the work of Brain Tumour Research in supporting individuals, research and campaigning, and in growing its network of sustainable research networks across the UK, and wishes Claire all the best for her future fundraising events.
